The Organisation requires the services of a Specialist: Contract, Governance and Performance in the Supply Chain Management department. Fixed term contract of 12 months.

Requirements
- Be in possession of a Degree in Supply Chain Management, Law, Logistics, or Auditing.
- Should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in contract management, governance, or
- compliance in the public sector/ conservation/ tourism.
- Knowledge of PFMA, PPPFA, PPR, B-BBEE Act, and other relevant Treasury Regulations

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a contract management framework and tools to support governance
- and compliance.
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with PFMA, National Treasury
- frameworks, and SANParks’ policies.
- Ensure all awarded contracts have SLAs concluded.
- Review and monitor service-level agreements (SLAs), concession contracts, and
- procurement contracts.
- Monitor the implementation and performance of awarded contracts, ensuring adherence to
- terms, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide oversight on contract variation, renewal, and termination processes.
- Monitor contract performance, ensuring suppliers meet deliverables.
- Ensure contract documentation is properly maintained, and performance reviews are
- conducted regularly.
- Report on contract performance, risks, and deviations to relevant governance structures.
- Track and report on contract performance.
- Monitor contract expiry and notify end-users to establish new contracts before expiry.
- Prepare contract change notices, variation memos, and addendums.
- Provide strategic advice and support to management on governance and contract-related
- Maintain audit-ready contract records and participate in internal/external audits.
- Identify and report on Irregular, Fruitless, and Wasteful Expenditure.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Ensure adherence to PFMA, National Treasury Regulations, and SANParks governance
- Conduct risk assessments on contracts and procurement processes.
- Implement anti-corruption measures and ensure transparency in contract awards.
- Liaise with internal audit, legal teams, and external regulators
- Recommend corrective actions for underperforming contracts.
- Train and support internal stakeholders in contract and performance management best
- Facilitate training on contract compliance for SANParks staff.
