CAMPUS BASED ACADEMIC STAFF

Role Summary
Netcare Education Western Cape Campus, currently has a vacancy for a Campus Based Academic Staff Member. The incumbent will be required to educate and facilitate theoretical and clinical training of basic nursing students.
Inherent Requirements
Education

• Current registration with South African Nursing Council as a registered/professional nurse.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing/ Degree in Education.
• Registered with South African Nursing Council as an Assessor and Moderator
• Primary Healthcare qualification will be advantageous.
• Master’s Degree/ in progress.
  Work experience
• 3 years’ experience within the education field.
• Research competence
  Knowledge
• Own Transport / Driver’s License
• Computer Proficiency: MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Portfolio of evidence of multiple teaching and facilitation methods and visual aids used / example of technology in the classroom utilised as teaching and facilitation methods.
